Default New member w/ 99 CBR F4 600

Hey guys/gals I'm a new member here from northern Cali bought my f4 a couple of years ago and this year under took a project to take it down and re-paint it. Former color yellow with repsol black and orange (cracked from a deer hitting me) fairings. Bike is now all black and frame and swing arm are powdered coated black.

Welcome aboard!

Good to add another F4 member. We seem to get new F4 members when they need help fixing their bike...they get the help, then disappear! So, hope you'll stick around. :-) We need active F4 members to contribute in the F4 section.

Good to have you w/ us.

Haha that funny cause i do have a few questions to pick your brains with but I plan on sticking around my first bike was a Yamaha fzr 600 I think it was an '84 POS HAHA love my F4 though I had picture of my entire rebuild but lost them when my phone bit the dust bike had been crash/rolled over before I got it and was never told and didn't know till I tore it all the way down

The paint on the fairings is my handy work while I took the frame and gas tank (heatproof bondo doesn't work/exist if anyone wants to know) to get powdercoated pant doesn't look like factory but I must say that for my first paint job it isn't half bad ill put up some pictures that I can find I think I have it as it used to be and I haven't got her whole yet still working on getting all my issues cleared up such an easy task has turned into a 10 month journey but it will be worth it have almost got every thing back to how it's supposed to be I mean when I got it u couldn't even turn the wheel all the way to lock because of the stupid aftermarket handle bars the previous own bad on them they were about 1 1/2 the length of stocks along with a whole mess of other problems
