Welcome aboard. I'm also in the St. Louis area (Wildwood). My CBR is in the garage until April but I'm looking forward to dusting off the saddle next month and taking her out.

not positive how to post pics but i will try and attach some. keep in mind it is a work in progress. i have just finished making it mechanically sound and now i will start on the paint and such. it will be from left to right start to present. first got the bike the po had broken and thrown away so many rare parts and ran the bike so lean the motor crapped out. also he dented in the gas tank which he used house paint on so that the fairing which was broken and ugly (i threw it away) would fit it. here are some pice of what the motor looks like. i am having a hard time finding alot of the pics of new parts that i got for it

and here are the last few. i still need to take some that are more current. finally got the motor in the frame which is very hard to lift it in by yourself but i got it in after about an hour then hooked everything up. also i got tired of guessing the a/f of the bike so i installed a 4 to 1 exhaust and had a bung welded into it then added a wideband gauge. also i got my custom intake kit. it is basically 4 velocity stacks connected to 1 main high flow air filter

sorry for all the posts of pics but these are the last ones i promise lol. i added a removable backbone which makes it easy to work on the top end. also i got tired of the soft front brake so i replaced the master cylinder with a more powerful one. the wiring was from the po who basically destroyed this bike. he threw away rare parts and ruined many others on the bike such as denting in the tank to fit a faring. o and the fuse blew on the bike that is in the pic so he put a small piece of wire in it so it would start. jumped in and kinda got over my head but i think it is coming along.
