New Member Reporting for Duty

Soon to be first time rider and have decided to start on a 600. Have used the past year to take the basic, intermediate, and advanced MSF courses to fully prepare myself mentally in order to be as safe as possible. I've ridden my friend's Ducati and a few gsxr 750s with ease but in the end it is just way too much power between my legs so I think a 600 will do everything I need/want out of a bike.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Miguel,
600 is a good choice for starting. Just remember all you learned on the courses and you'll be find. Remember to keep all your eyes open, especially the ones in the back of your head. A mate of mine who died recently (illness) back in the early '80s told me "always think 'what if?' as you're riding" - What if that cars pulls out? What if the corner's tighter than I think, etc. Kept me alive for the last 37 years on bikes!
