Default New member from Norway :)

Hi guys!

New member from Norway here. Used to be a Honda guy back in the late 80`s starting with a 50cc Honda PX, then an XL100 and an XL600!

School, work, kids etc kept me away from bikes for a few years then getting back into it again brought me over to Yamaha with an XT350, then an YZF600R Thundercat and now, a 2009 R1 with a good amount of mods+ECU flashing and the works

Everyday life takes up too much time and I never get to ride the R1 like it was supposed to so it`s up for sale.

I didn`t want to give up riding and RR is where my heart lies so I figured a light, nimble, fill with gas&get on it kinda bike would do the trick!!

I found a low miles 07 600RR and thought what the hell and here it is

Knowing very little about thes bikes I could use some input on what to look out for and what mods to go for!
I`m thinking flushies and shorty levers to start with!!

Cheers, Powerflux

Welcome to the CBR Forum Powerflux,

Bikes are hard to keep away from aren't they??

Post some pictures of your new ride when you can

We have a few members from up your way, so I expect they may be along soon to say Hi.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF! I'm glad you found the RR. Nothing wrong with shorties and flush mounts to start with. Maybe SS lines to go with your new levers????

Enjoy.

Shorty levers are cool, but just remember, you are really only upgrading the looks not any lever action when you go with shortys. More geared towards the clutch but OEM levers give you more lever action which in turn means less effort to move clutch lever.

Welcome though, glad you got it back, 07 RR is a beauty.

Welcome to CBRF... That 600rr should treat you real good... Just tailor your riding to fit in somewhere in the daily regiment... whether it's to commute or just some joy riding on the weekend or just jumping on at some random time for some me time...

Hey and welcome to the forum! As said, a few members from Norway already lurk the corners somewhere here

Might aswell use the situation to my good use and ask if you know anything about the northern parts, specially the Nordkapp area and hotels etc there, me and my buddy are planning a little trip for next summer and this could be one possible route to take, I`ve heard great things of the Skibotn - Alta shore road!

Hi guys, back again and thanks for the warm welcome

The bike is in winterstorage 2 hrs from here and the few pics I took with my phonecam got deleted by my daughter-DUH!!
I`m keeping my fingers crossed for for an early start this year, like early March or so

Right now it`s full on
