So just bought a 91' CBR 600 F2, it was only 1500 bucks. Has new CT tires. Runs like a newer model. Only 24k miles on the bike. After receiving the bike I went over it good. I found a few issues. Mainly it had went down a time or two. So 1 week after getting this bike I decided u needed to refresh this bike. So I bought a new chain, a new headlight bulb, oil change, and a few other small things. I instantly fell in love with the comfort and performance so after deciding not to "flip" the bike. I began to tear it down and remove all the stickers and tape holding the fairings together. I then welded and filled the cracks and even made pieces that were just gone. So I am. Currently halfway done with the paint process but since I just joined I will show what it looked like when I received it and where it is now. Along with some pictures of the missing pieces

Hello Heath and welcome to the forum! Always warming to hear another F2 being saved from the inevitable! These things are incredibly durable and at the right hands can still keep up and even outrun new rr:s at the track, and still be surprisingly comfy on the highway (just did 1100km:s in three days last summer)
Sounds like you're not a stranger with the toolbox either, do take a stroll around the f2 section for numerous how-to:s on different subjects, be it the notorious cam chain tensioner, carb sync or just plain maintenance you'll surely find instructions here, and if you don't, ask!

And post up a few pics, most use photobucket but any pic sharing site should do. And you might wanna share your whereabouts too, specially in the US, UK, AUS and NZ chances are you're not far from another member!

Welcome to the CBR Forum Heath,

I'm looking forward to photos of your build. Perhaps start a thread dedicated to the rebuild.

Cheers, SB

And here is what the fairings look like with black primer. Still have to sand and remove the decals from the tank and tail pieces. then sand everything again and then I am ready for paint!

Welcome to CBRF! I like the progress you've made on your F2. You should post a build thread in the F2 section.
