Default New Member New Bike 2007 CBR600RR

Just bought a 2007 CBR600RR. Was riding a 2012 CBR250R but got bored of it quite quickly. Rode my new 600 home from the dealership and it was my first time ever riding a 600. Kind of scary, kind of exhilarating. Some might call me stupid but the way I see it, no matter how long you ride a starter bike, you'll never learn to ride a 600 while you're riding a 250. As for the bike itself it's in pretty good shape. Couple scuffs but nothing major. My only complaint is the exhaust is way too loud. Not sure what type of exhaust it is. But there are two pipes coming out of the back. Looks great but a bit on the loud side. Then again I've never ridden a 600 so it might not be too much louder than the stock exhaust. Bike has a good bit of aftermarket parts. Frame sliders, case slider, seat cowl, black windscreen, clutch cover, turn signals, aftermarket seat and brake light. Not sure how to attach a picture on here from my phone but if anyone can let me know then I'll post a picture. But anyway, if anyone has any advice on tricks or information I should know for this particular bike then that'd be appreciated. Still very new to sport bikes.

Hey welcome, I had a 2008 and really liked it. One of the best looking bike. You'll get used to it soon probably. Take your time to lear from it and be smart!

Hi Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you have a loud aftermarket can.

To post pictures, you need to host them on a site such as photobucket and then just paste the image URL into your post.

I owned an '06 for a short stint. I was very impressed with the performance from it. Hope you enjoy it.
