New Member, New Bike
Hello fellow CBR owners,
I just purchased my first bike. It's a 1997 CBR 600 F3 in purple/yellow with 16,000 miles. It is in excellent condition. I paid $2600 just this past weekend. I know there's not that much time left this riding season (in Chicago) but I'm super excited and enjoying every minute of it so far.

Thank you for the welcome CBRclassic.
You are correct in all your assumptions.
I think I posted one pic of my bike on here. However, I've had trouble accessing other threads and utilizing some of the features of this site. Perhaps because I am a new member still? I'll try again in the near future.
Thanks again for the welcome and I'm sure I'll see you around the site. :-P

CBRclassic,
Did you put that picture of my bike on my post? :-P If so, thank you again!
After going back to my control panel, I realized that the profile picture is supposed to be a picture of me, so I've changed it and will add pictures of my bike to an album as soon as I have access to that feature.
And, I just had my family from Australia in town visiting. While they stayed with me for 2 months, I swear I heard myself picking up an Australian accent! :-)) I might be visiting them next summer (Australia's winter).
