Default New member - Hiya!

Hi all,

I am new to sportbikes and purchased an '05 CBR 600RR two weeks ago. I am ready to quit my job entirely and devote each waking minute to riding. What an awesome machine - can't get enough! If there's anyone in the southeast Wisconsin or northeast Illinois area looking to do some riding (and doesn't mind somebody who is relatively inexperienced) feel free to hit me up. I was lurking about on here for a bit before I committed to a Honda, looks like a great forum and wanted to partake. HELLO EVERYONE!

Background:
-30 yrs old
-Rode sportsters/dynas in my early/mid 20's
-Sit behind a desk staring at four computer monitors for 12 hrs a day
-Decided I needed a hobby and managed to convince my wife that a sportbike would be the way to go (best wife ever)
-Pretty certain there isn't enough pavement in the solar system for all the miles I want to put on...

I am going to try to post some pics of my bike...

-Dave

Highchase, thanks a bunch!

You folks know what is completely awesome? I forgot about this after not riding in about 5 years... When I go down the road, I can't seem to go by another rider who won't wave at me or wave back. Just not something you can't experience in a car or truck. There's a lot I missed w/o a cycle and I'm just overjoyed to be back in the saddle.

Regards!

-Dave
