Hi Folks,
I started off in 1995 with a Honda 125cc scoot, then some years progressed onto a Deauville, followed by a yam 250cc scoot, moved onto a Yam XJ6 inline 4 and am now looking to progress onto something a bit lighter and more powerful. The Honda CBR600F is one Jap inline 4 that is very tempting, the only alternative being a naked Hornet.
I like to go out occasionally with groups but prefer to go at my own pace so I try to combine business trips with a bike ride where possible.
I have made one bike web video for the British organisation Birds on Bikes but have discovered that Scotland is not the place for making bike films due to the constant rain. However I always make sure I take a compact stills camera on all my bike rides for face book, rain or shine.
I'm an active volunteer with Edinburgh Motorcycle Action Group and am happy to do meetups with other bikers in the Lothian Region area of Scotland. I recently discovered the Bikers cafe at South Queensferry below the 4th road bridge.

Hi Folks! thanks for the welcome. My Birds on Bikes youtube was tragically wiped out with all my other videos when (late at night) I tried to delete one video, but ticked the wrong checker box at the top of the page, by mistake, thus wiping all my films. So, I will have to search my disc collection to see if I still have a copy on cd. However, my next film is a charity bike film to help raise the profile of 'Blood Bikes' (not a charity to raise money for vampyric bikers in need of more blood) - it's in fact an Edinburgh charity to raise money to buy a new Pan to help the emergency services transport blood as their own bikes were withdrawn from service, thought to be too expensive to run. Looking forward to communicating with more cbr riders!
