new member to CBRF
Again I am a new member as all the rest here in this section. I recently joined, but I didnt realize there was a place to formerly introduce myself. I have had a few bikes, but only 1 CBR(It's a 92'f2 21k and addingon her). I knew I wanted a bike that would accelerate past rigs on the interstate and be fun to toss around on the back roads, but I didnt know what brand or style or sizeI was looking for or could afford. Went to my local dealer and they hada usedblack CBR for the money I was looking to spend. I boguht it without even a test ride. I didnt even take myhelmet with meto the shop. I was just "LOOKING" or so I thought. Well I said all that to sayI really have been enjoying my bike. I didnt (and still don't)know much about the mechanics of the bike. I spent about a half hour on this site one evening and joined right away. The amount of knowledge and advice here is awesome. You guys answered some of my questionswith posts that were already there and one that I asked. Thanks for the great site.
P.S: I recently had the farings painted pearl white with only a few decals put back on. The bike is really clean now. I want to tighten up the rear end lights and plate. I will try to post some pice b/f and after as soon as I get a nice day for the afters. I oiled my chain before my last ride.Really gunked up the white tail and its too cold for a descent bath outdoors.
Thanks again,
