Those are some great picks of your strip down ..
2 hrs ...... yer it always takes less time to rip them apart than to whack them back together..
Looks and sounds like you have it under control though ..
From my experience stripping bike and car engines for rebuilding , I think its the cleaning of parts before assembly that is the most important ...
I always have been pretty fantastical about that part and usually spend at least 5 times the time it took to strip them in the first place to re assemble..

yea cbrclassic i am the same when it comes to reassembly of engines been doin car motors for a while and have done a few top ends on bikes mostly two stroke but a few four. you wunna have some fun with a motor tear into a 15 liter diesel once lol thats what i do now got out of the cars

15 LT Diesel's ?? ouch[:-] ... big chunky bits mate ...
One of my mate used to do allot of cummins rebuilds for his dads transport business....
I would go hangout at his workshop to help where I could ....bloody cranes needed for everything ... heavy bastards those parts are ...
