Thanx guys... Let me fix my mistake. its an 06' Just brand new out of the crate yesturday. I picked it up after work yesturday and damn does it have some torque. Or at least a lot more than the Katana I had before this one. I got two different answers from people that work there. The first one said that I should bring it in After 600 miles for the tune up and flush and oil change. The second guy tole me to bring it in at 1000 miles.Which one is correct?

I say, check your owners manual you got with that shiney new thing, and do what Honda's smart engineer's say you should do. Forget the guys at the dealership. Feel free to post up pics of the bike and welcome to the site!

Thanx guys. I was gonna take pics of it last night but we've been having some pretty nasty weather out in Destin fl for the past two days. I got blue skies tomorrow so I'll get some pics and post them up on monday morning. Also theguy told me to keep it under 8000rpm until after I hit 600 miles... Is that correct because I rode my frineds bike and it says right on the spedo to keep it under 4000rpm till 500 miles is reached.....

What does it say in the owners manual? All minesaid is no full throttle acceleration for 300 miles. (07 cbr1000rr) Which I just passed today. I didn't want to start flogging it at mile 301. But I diddo afull squirt roll on in second, third & fourth. Second barley came off the ground.Third seemed to have more stonk than second. And fourth? The flux capaciter most havekicked in somewhere in fourth becauseIfelta year or two younger when Istopped.
