I have to break the ol camera out and get some pics.....soon to come. Ok i have a question on break in. I am about to hit 250 mi and i notice that going from second to third does not stick (sometimes....usually when i am at high rpm's). Is this just not broken in yet or do i have a tranny problem? Thanks in advance!

I would say to give your bike more time to complete the break-in period. If memory serves me correctly your typical break-in period is supposed to be 500 miles. You know. Very your throttle position and speed. Don't do slip shifting or high rev shifting. Just the real basic things. Its a new toy and its tempting to get on it and get on it hard. Patience grasshopper. See if you could handle carrying your break-in period past the 750mile mark. Thats what I did when Bought brand new bikes. As a matter of fact i never even hit 80mph until after the 750 mark. No. I'm not boasting. Just really try to take good care of my equipment cause it can take good care of me.

Thats what i thought, but i have read some sites that say to ride it hard the first 200 to 500 mi to seal the rings properly.

http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

Is this bogus? There is so much out there, it is kind of hard to know what is fact and what is fantasy.
