New member... 05 600rr, blinker problem
Hey all,
New here...Got a 05 600rr all black a while back and i have been lurking for some time now. Thought i would introdice myself. Its been great weather and i have to say the car has been parked for 10 straight days!!! YAY! Lots of great information here and i am looking at learning more. I do have one question, i purchased the bike with a blinker problem. the right blinker does not blink all the time. I would say it is about 90/10 (does not blink 90% of the time and does blink 10% of the time) Have been watching it but doesn't seem to have any pattern to when it works, just random. It has clear flush mounts and a clear tail blinker/break above the exhaust and under the rear seat. any ideas of where to start looking?? just did a quick look of the wires and did not see anything that appears to be loose.
Thanks

RE: New member... 05 600rr, blinker problem
Welcome!
My buddy has a 2003 600RR. When he put the Clear Alternatives tail light in it, he had this same problem. He traced it to where the wires attached to the large resistors (white block looking things). He soldered all of the wires to the resistors and put heat shrink tubing over the connections and has not had a problem since.
