New from Long Island!
Whats up everyone! I just picked up a '95 CBR600F3 this afternoon in pretty solid condition today and its more than I really expected it to be. Looks great, pulls real nice, Two Bros. Exhaust sounds fantastic and its a blast to ride, already threw on 100 miles lol. The only thing the P.O. changed that I have to fix is they lowered it like 2.5" because they were short as hell and Im a giant at 6'2 220lbs. They also cut down the kick stand and rewelded the foot on so it stands like straight up which really makes me nervous. I have the stock riser but I have NO idea where its supposed to go, but the one they threw on is apparently adjustable? Would it be a coil over I can just raise back up? Its real low and with my weight on it im expecting to bottom out and i've noticed with steering dynamics are off for my size and position. Any Ideas?
In any case, here's my "new" bike!

Welcome to the forum! Real nice looking f3, never seen that color scheme before. Looks to be in very good condition.
Someone with an f3 will probably come shortly to confirm but there should be a nut of sort that you can turn with a special spanner to set the spring pre-tension and raise rhe tail. Although 2,5" seems pretty much, I'd probly check if the spring has been cut. The shock seems original as I'm seeing the reservoir on the side of the tail. With your weight it must be soggy as a sponge if it's turned all the way loose, probably to the point of being dangerous if you can tell the steering is off.
Not sure about what you mean with the riser though...
Look from youtube for videos on how to set the sag right for you.

Welcome. Yea you need to check the lowering link. Check if there is an adjustable there. Like Matt said it is typically a special bolt to adjust. Maybe try posting in the F3 section if you dont get it sorted. Cheers.

Welcome to CBRF! Very clean F3. As far as the adjustment, post a picture of the shock where it mounts to the swing arm in the F3 section. I or anyone else should be able to show you what you need to do.
If you're going to raise it back up, the kickstand shouldn't be a concern because raising the bike is going to make it lean over more. Doubly so if it's shortened already.
