Congrats on your new bike! It looks great.
Best advice I can give you is to take the MSF course to get you started. Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Then, build upon what you've learned to become a safe & responsible rider. Take the advanced courses as well when its time. Don't force yourself out of your comfort zone while you're learning - *Ride Your Own Ride*. Read everything you can find on riding technique...to that, you don't have to buy it all - you can spend a few afternoons in B&N or other bookstores & online. ;-)
The more you ride, the more comfortable & confident you'll become.
