whats up guys. so i hadnt planned on buying a bike, but a friend made me an offer on his wrecked f3 i couldnt refuse. im a pretty hands on/mechanical guy and plan to rebuild it and maybe in a while flip it. i dunno well see.
anyways, he had let a friend ride it and he didnt even make it out of the parking lot. locked the rear end up on a storm drain, low sided, and slid it front first into the curb. after the wreck, the bike has been sitting for about a year. with the kid on the way he just wants to get rid of it.
from what i can tell, it needs a new front fairing, new fairing stay, and what im hoping to be just one fork. the front end is def twisted. but im just thinking thats a combination of the trees slipped or being mis-aligned, and the right fork being bent.
so far ive got the fairing and fairing stay off ebay. fairing is new, ran me 65 shipped, and the used stay for 82 shipped. now im trying to hunt down either some forks or a fork. i guess well see.
anyone have any tips for doing front end work without a motorcycle lift or a triple lift?

Howdy hey! Welcome aboard.
The guys here are very creative when it comes to lifting the bike. There's a pic in the F3 section of one hanging from what looks like a boxing heavy bag frame, with an umbrella attached to keep things dry Milk crates, straps from garage rafters... if you can think it, it's prolly been done. Couple bottle jacks on the headers will work for short term too
