Though I've technically been a CBRF member for roughly a year now, and have already posted here and there, I should probably properly introduce myself!

As much as I'd consider myself more of a Kawi guy(have owned 2 in as many years), I've always had a pretty strong interest in Hondas. Probably attributed to learning how to ride on my buddys beautiful solid red 97 F3. Anyways the end of last fall, I picked up this absolute MINT 02 F4i. Except for the discolored pillion seat and tear in one of the grips, I literally couldnt find a single blemish-

*since I cant for the life of me seem to add text at the bottom of pics, or newer pics for that matter(WTF?), I guess I'll continue here* I bought the bike the middle of last October, and have already put around 5k on it. Just an absolute amazing machine, I'm thoroughly impressed! Though I was assured that all the maintenance was up to date, this spring, she'll get new oil/filter air filter, and coolant/breaks bled. The one need-to mod I did do right away was dumping that nasty fender and installing a CW eliminator. What was Honda thinking when they put that monstrosity on an otherwise beautiful bike?

Anyway, great site! I've already learned quite a bit just from lurking, and look forward to actively participating more.

Welcome to finally introducing yourself on the CBR Forum Singram

Your bike looks great and I think you'll find Honda are very restricted about what rear fenders look like. Here in South Australia you can be booked if there is no rear wheel cover at a 45 degree angle from the rear wheel nut.

Hence large ugly fenders.

Cheers, SB
