Default New Honda Owner

I am new to the whole Honda motorcycle scene in general. I have rode Yamaha my whole life. I have a 1998 Honda CBR 600F3. What I want I really can not afford(wearing the camo uniform does not pay that much) so I settled for a CBR. I hope to meet some people in my area(Alamogordo, NM) to ride with. I will pick it up hopefully mid October to early November. It is already modified but I plan on giving it the ERB Motorsports flavor. I belong to a MC in Indy called Indypendents. If anyone is interested let me know and I will give you a contact number.

No worries. I am going to have it painted Yamaha Blue to match my Team Yamaha Race jacket and gloves.

Ouch... Maybe you can modify some Yamaha plastics to fit it.

No... he's in the right place. I was just giving him a hard time cause he's not on a Honda by choice.

Come on, if money wasn't an issue... would you just have one bike? I'd have one of each. The 600RR would still be my choice of rides, but it'd be fun to play with them all.

Actually, I was thinking about getting a nighthawk to mess around with. The R6 looks like it'd be fun! But then again, if I could afford an R6, I'd proabably get an RR first.

Welcome to the forum... I'm in Las Cruces, NM. I don't ride on the street any more, just on the track. But, if you're interested, there are track day weekends every month at Arroyo Seco Raceway near Demming. Lots of riders from Alamogordo go to the track days.
