Hey, just got my first 600CBR RR/06 this is my second bike, my first was a 97 Kaw, bad exp. I have not been on the saddle for over a year, I am very nervouse and hope that this will be a more positive one. Now down to business, I am only 63" tall so obviously I am not able to plant my feet down, I need to learn all there is to learn about this BIKE before march. Please Help!!!

Well lets start with I am a female thank you.
Now me and KAW did not get along,my first bike, bad advice, got a lemon that now afterI have been educating myself with biker knowledge and mechanics, I know and understand that I could have killed myself.

So i am still descriminating against KAW, most of my friends own KAW ZX14's and they are true riders. They just did a ride last weekend to my MC Club's anniversay from LI, NY to Mobile Al in the rain, sleet and snow.

I hope to be able to one day make a nice ride like that.

Welcome to the forum !
You can drop the suspension to accommodate your height.
Look around, enjoy what's on offer !

I would think that in terms of tips on riding at your height, the ladies forum would probably be a lot of help. I went there once when I was new and saw a couple topics on techniques that can be used when you're not quite 8 feet tall. Good to have you here, enjoy your stay.

hey Eugenia :-)

Welcome to the forums!!

So, you have ridden before but want to improve your riding ..I would go for some professional training and also if you feel upto it yet click the link in my signature and learn how to counter steer ... counter steering is just the most important thing to know when cornering on a bike. You do it subconsciously anyway ..we can all ride a bike but you need to learn to do it conscioulsy and competently to really master a bike :-)

If you need to know anything just ask ...

Good luck!!

Jules
