Default New here & to sport bikes

I just picked up my first sport bike today. It's a 2001 CBR600 F4i. I rode it today for about an hour or so and then it started to rain. I'm just taking it easy to get used to everything. I had a blast today and I cannot wait to ride it tomorrow.

Welcome aboard Andr3w!

Congrats on getting your F4i. Looks like its in good condition. Are you going to keep it lowered or raise it back to stock settings?

Be safe out there.

I wasn't aware it was lowered haha. I'm not sure what I'll do just yet.

Nice bike, welcome! If it doesn't bottom out on you, there's no need to be concerned.
Just watch really broken stretches of pavement and take them slower or spring with your knees and the lowering won't be a problem.

Im also new to the forum and you have a nice bike. I got my first sports bike (98 cbr f3) for Christmas. I really like it too. I'll just give you tips that ive been getting. Make sure you always wear protective gear and be careful with cars b/c they do not see motorists' and they dont respect us.
