Default New here and need help

Hey I just bought a 2002 F4i, it ran great before and now i just started it and after i went to shift it died. I had the clucth all the way in too. Does this bike need to warm up to a certain tempature or something like that?

Did you have the side stand down? or dumped the clutch maybe!. I always let my bike warm up before I ride, other riders don't. but I probably suffer from some sort of compulsive disorder. Get to know her a bit before you start worrying to much.

my guess would be the side stand as well..........for the first choice then warming it up......

I had a similar situation and was told that happens if the side stand is down. It's a safety measure if you're in gear. I put my bike in neutral to start and had no problems with the side stand down. I'd suggest put up the side stand or make sure you're in N to start.

Let me know if this worked.

Yeah my F3 will start in N but any other gear cuts off with the sidestand down, sounds like that's what the problem is.
