Hello all, my name is Jen and I have a 2000 red/black F4. I haven't done many mods to it yet, just tinted windscreen, exhaust, and lowered the bike for my short legs. This is my first season with the F4 (previously had a ex500 then zx6e) I am really looking forward to having a lot of fun on this bike!

 

Hey Jen and welcome. I shaved my seat to lower my 2004 F4i for fear of losing any handling, have you had any problems riding since you lowered yours?

 

Hi Jen & welcome to the boards. It sounds like you started out riding the right way. Congrats on your F4. A great step up from your last bikes. Definatly post some pics when you get them.

 

I haven't noticed a difference no, but I didn't really ride it before it was lowered. lol It rides a lot better than my zx6e so does that count? (and it wasn't lowered)
