new here
Hey.
Im new here.
Looking at getting a CBR soon.
Found a couple 93 900RR's for kinda cheap.
Never owned a fast bike. Driven a couple Busa's and a few 1000+ cc bikes.
Really into cars.
I have a couple second gen RX7's, a turbo Dodge Omni, and a big block Mustang. But thats not all that important on here. haha!
Just joined up to learn a bit more about CBR's before I go out and buy one.
15mpg and paying over $200 a month for insurance has just reached its limit!

Welcome to the forums. I wish you well on your search for a CBR. Can never go wrong with the wings!
How much riding have you done before? Will this be a first bike owned or just the first larger displacement one?
Gear up, and ride safe!

First bike I've owned. I have a good 1500 miles worth of riding through friends bikes.
Drove a newer R1 450 miles last fall. None stop.
I have a 450cc dirt bike. Which isnt too crazy. But I get the concept of riding.
I wouldnt call myself a hot shot on a rocket. But I've had a few 600's up to speed on empty highways. So I know the feeling of 150+ on 2 wheels. And to be honest. I feel more safe on a bike at that speed then in a car.

No worries man its not always about about the cc's or speed more about riding finesse
and the spirit of experience and enjoyment on two wheels .........just my opinion is all.
As you ride more and put time in........all becomes more clear imo

It's about finding a bike that fits you, and then about enjoying it and getting better at riding it. Doesn't matter what it is. Hondas are a pretty good bet, though. I've always had one, and love them. The 900rr is a great bike.
Welcome to the CBRF and good luck on whatever you decide to get.
