Hi

Will here, bought a CBR 125 2005 plate in blue (lightning candy blue according to the dealer :P) in october and have been computing to and from college every day since then, seen wind, rain, sun and snow. I have come off on ice and wet leaves!!! I have a UK learner license for bikes and full license for cars, but i thought a bike would be more interesting! i travel between 150 - 250 miles a week!

i absolutely love my bike, and look after it totally myself, i have done 2 oil changes, and both brake pads, air filter and all the usual bulbs etc. but the one thing i have noticed is how little miles the tyres last (the rear). being a student its not good!!! just wondering if there was a specific computer tyre etc?

Welcome to the forum, Will! You should check in with the people down in the 125 section (if you haven't already) and see what kind of tires they are having luck with.
I'm sure it does tear up the tires at a pretty good pace, but at least they are a bit cheaper being smaller sizes.
Anyway, enjoy the forum!

Welcome to CBRF!! I'd look for a tire with a harder compound than you are currently running. See if someone makes a touring, or sport-touring tire for your model. I'm not sure if there are any out there for a 125, but it's definitely worth checking into. Good luck!

Post up some pics of your ride when you get the chance and enjoy the forums.
