new guy from ohio
Hey guys, Im new, and from ohio. I've recently aquired a 96 cbr 600f3. its been down, and has some miles on it but I plan to nurse her back to health. Mechanically its great. Cosmetics not so good. Its for 37k on it, but does not smoke, seems to run just as good as new. The bike is flat black. someone rattle canned right of the beloved honda red.They didnt even remove the stickers. I amglad I saved her before any more wrath happend. I am going to need some bodywork, so hopefully somewhere around here can help me out with that.anyways enough of that.I traded my other toy.( 1992 v8 s10) for the bike. Just thought I would say hello. Heres a pic of the truck. I will get pics of the bike as soon as time permits.

Sounds like you did a good thing saving her mate
Cosmetic parts for the 600's are pretty easy to locate and not to bad as far as price goes ..
I will leave the 600 guys to advise you of them though, as we have many many great, experienced 600 riders on the forum to help you out..
You take it easy on your ride and do not be shy to whack a ton of posts in to get the info you need..

thanks for the warm welcome guys. Hopefully I can get this bike looking good as new! It really hurt to see the truck go, but I needed a change of pace. The truck had been 4 1/2 years in the making on the v8, so I am really looking forward to working on something and not having to lay on my back too often
