New guy here! Just baught thus bike for cheap but it needs some work like brakes, tires, tune-up, ect..
just wondering what tires and what size i should put on the bike because i really dont know much about bikes. The previous owner said if he was to keep it, he would go with a wider tire?? Also, what sites are good to buy cheap tires and brakes from? Please Help!!

hey and welcome to CBRF!! :-)

I would be very careful about putting wider tyres on standard rims ... they are designed to generally suit a certain size and sticking to the recommendations is generally best policy, besides it's not as if the bike needs it especially for the road

These guys in the F4i forum can probably advise more...

Take care and enjoy the forums!! :-)

Welcome to the show Pismo. I would google the tire sizes you need to find the best prices. I find that there are always places running sales so it is impossible to pick one that consistantly has the lowest prices. Also, Juliet is correct in that you should stick to the original tire sizes. Wider tires will affect your handling in a negative way. Good luck!!

You will need:
Front: 120/70ZR17
Rear: 180/55ZR17

Very nice F4i, man! Always liked the silver/black combo.

There is a regional section here you can check out for riders in your area, or just see if there are any peeps in the different sections who may wanna ride. Maybe even a local club or something?

Anyway, welcome to the CBRF!
