Default New guy NE Oklahoma

I new to here, but have been riding bikes for years. First real street bike was a Superhawk. Currently I'm riding a 2006 V-strom 1000. So why am I here? Well I have rode Hondas all my life, still have CR500R, CR80R, 400ex, 350 Rancher, and a 250ex. All these four wheelers and just wanted one with something more. I have an extra banshee frame and found a wrecked 2001 CBR 600F4I. I then put the motor in it. Had it all going good and was finishing up a few things. Had a not paying attention moment and put my new battery in backwards and now it wont start. I need help getting it going again.

Welcome.

Sounds like an interesting project. I've seen an R6 mixed with a 4 wheeler before; pretty scary awesome machine.

Check your main fuse on the harness. It should be in line to the fuse box, but not in it. Usually it's under it's own cover.

Fuses have been replaced. It will crank over, fuel pump running. So it's either fire or injectors not working. I tried another ECM and no change. I did notice that my temp display on my instument cluster quit working now. Maybe voltage reg? Just guessing now.

Check to make sure the ecm is grounded properly. The green wires are the grounds.
