Default new guy from MO

Hi, i just picked up my first bike, it is a 96 cbr 600. its got exhaust and a corbin seat, thats it. it has 10,400 miles on it. i am new to bikes, but i have ridden dirtbikes and fourwheelers alot. if you have any tips or pointers feel free to post. Thanks!

Welcome to the board! Congrats on the bike ... post up some pics when you get a chance. Best advice I know is to take it slow. Street bike handles a lot differently than a dirt bike and asphalt is where they got the idea for sandpaper. If there is one near you take a MSF course.

thanks! ill try posting up some pics again, i tried last night and there was some kind of error or somethin. Thanks for the advice, i am definately going to respect the bike, i know how dangerous they can be. and i do plan on taking a safety course soon. thanks for the link
