new guy just sayin hi
Hey all, im new to the forum just thought i'd stop by and say hi, im a firefighter from nj and i love cbr's, my first bike was a 97 cbr 600 and i loved it, last year i got a 94 cbr 1000f from a guy who had abbused it real bad so i fixed it up rode it for about a week then the staor went so i put it up for the winter. Had bad weather a tree fell and landed on my bike breaking the rear farrings, I've had nothing but bad luck with this bike, but all in all i love this bike, it is still by far my fav bike, im working on trying to restore her from trying to get another motor to redoing the plastics, it is time consuming, everyonw is telling me to get rid of the bike but i cant seem to let her go. Am i nuts for wanting to dump 3x's as much money into the bike then its worth, well if you say yes you may not be a cbr freak like me. But if ne one has n e advice on good things to do to the bike that would be great thanks all

Welcome to the Forum. No you will not be called nuts here for spending 3x the amount on her. sorry to here about the tree falling. Plastic weld works great on the fairings. also look around and you will find what others have done to there to get them looking better.
Yes Pls stop by the LINK CBR 1000F "hurricane" section and check in. There is quite a few of us in there.
Also don't forget to Vote for LINK ROTM
