What do you actually NEED, Wills, to get that bucket of bolts mobile again ?
Parts ? Labour ? What ?
Maybe there are some guys with bits on the Forum who would help.....
And yeah, low blow, but when it comes to low 'blows'

Pete all i need is labor, registration, inspection. I have the front fork seals and the chain, i just need the shop to put them on and torque everything down. i need my carbs cleaned/synched. I can make the tires i have on her last me a bit longer...so really all that is holding me up is getting the front fork seals replaced, chain rivited on, carbs cleaned/syched then go to the court house and get her registered and inspected.. so about 500-750 bucks worth of stuff. its just with the divorce and all is sucking up all my spare cash, i spent most of my spare cash getting my ex wifes bike back up and running, then we split and she has her bike working and ive been without mine for 2 riding seasons[:@][:@] then you know getting a new place to live, getting my truck running b/c she took both cars, so i took a nice little screwing there but its all good mate, im in the back straight away now.

Pity we aren't in the same town, Tex, we'd have the fork seals in and the chain on in about two hours, and the carbs synched in another hour - no charge - then all you'd need is the paperwork.
I've been the divorce route too, so I know how hard it is.
Is there no one close by from the Forum who can assist ?
Maybe if Polunsky comes up, it'll be good to go a lot sooner....

yeah im keeping my fingers crossed for polunsky. No Pete, no one really lives close enough to be feasable. Texas is approx 2.7 million square miles, thats alot of ground to cover their mate. Im in a small town smack in the middle of 2 large towns, Houston is about 120 or so miles south and dallas is about 165 miles noth. if i dont hear from polunsky by tomm im gonna start looking for another job then get a second job so i can get matilda back on the road and straightened out, she needs a good bit of cosmetic work also, but id be happy and ride her naked just for a chance to ride her now. there is one member 20 miles away but hes busy with his own project and i havent even asked him yet, im waiting on him to return my pm, i might ask for his help if he knows how and can assist me.

You can do the seals and chain yourself - here's a link to the 900 manual.
(and a helluva lot of others) - ignore the cyrillic writing - it's a Rumanian bike club site, but manuals are in English unless they say otherwise
