Default New guy here

What's up all, just picked up a 92' CBR 600 F2 off a friend last weekend. It's a little rough and I'm looking forward to giving it some love and making a sweet ride out her.

Came with literally an 8ft truck bed full of parts and another frame and motor.
Starts right up and sounds great.

I'll eventually put up a build thread and will probably have a lot of questions. I know my way around a bike pretty well but this is my first Honda. Used to have an 05 gsxr750 but times got tough and had to sell. Now I'm still on a budget but am looking forward to getting back on 2 wheels!

Welcome to the CBR Forum Grizz, and also welcome back to the world of two wheels!

"It's a little rough" Could be seen as an understatement.

Start a resto/refurb thread, as we love to see bikes resurrected to what the owner wants.

Good luck with the rebuild. Ask any questions you need, plenty of knowledgeable folk on the forum.

Cheers, SB

Haha ok, so maybe "a little rough" was me trying to pretend I won't have a ton of money tied up in this project. Thanks for the welcome, I'm looking forward to joining the cbr community and returning this poor machine to street bike glory.

I'm with Seb on this one, if that's "a little rough", I would be interested to see your idea of a "bit of a minger"

Regardless; welcome to the Forum, I'm sure you will get lots of helpful advice to guide you in whatever direction you eventually decide to develop your bike in.

I think you'll find around here that it's all about the ride, not about the bike.

Cheers
TK
