Default New Guy here

Hey Everyone, after alot of poking around the site the past week or so I decided its about time to sign up! Last week I picked up my new girl, 1988 600F1 Hurricane with 15k and 4k on new rebuild. Previous owner claims of some good work being done including a more recent paint job(kobalt blue and Burnt Orange) a jet kit, full Kerker Exhaust, New Pirellis, new rotors and steel braided lines. He claims he lowered the bike and im still trying to figure out how(adjustable rear spring??) As of now im still tearing some of the fairings off to familiarize myself more with the Hurricane. Very excited to be part of the site to learn more! pics to follow soon

Done since I picked her up:
Mobil 1 10w-40 Full-syn oil, fram oil filter
lubed up the chain
currently changing the seat release(quick release pins? or wing nut)
Fender Elimination and putting in LED license plate lights

Future mods:
New CBR Grips and ends
520 Chain kit
Figure out how to raise the bike to stock height
(Anything else fun I can get into

Looks good.

Btw, be careful strapping over your front bodywork like that...could cause some damage. Get yourself a canyon-dancer... Canyon Dancer Inc.. It will pay for itself.

Yeah thats a nice set up thanks for the heads up! I put a shirt between the strap and the fairing on the other side but didnt have anything for the left. I was cringing. luckily it wasnt a long ride ha
