Hey everyone! Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I just picked up a 2006 CBR600RR. Its all stock with just under 10K on it. The guy I bought it from laid it down a few years ago and scraped up the plastic. The bike needs a little love but i got a great deal on it. I'm planning on riding it for the rest of the season then giving it a good tear down and check up. Ill put up some pictures as soon as i get the plastics back on and wash it up. This is my first street bike though I have ridden off road for some time.

Anything i should look out for with this bike? Only put about 30 miles on it so far but I am pretty pleased with the purchase.

Here is a quick pic I grabbed after unloading it from the truck sitting next to my buddy's GSXR600.

 

Finally was able to put the fairings back on the bike and give it a good washing. Installed a new rear Dunlop Q2 last week and will be doing the front shortly. The only other things i want to do is replace the aftermarket mirrors with the stock ones. Anyway here are a couple more pictures after the bath.
