New Guy Here...
Hey CBRForum,
My name is Matt and I'm addicted to alcohol....
Not really, I see its typical for a new member to drop in and make his first post here introducting himself. Well, I'm a Marine stationed at MCB Camp Lejeune, NC (2D LAR if anyone is interested). Just returning from the lovely country of Afghanistan. I had always wanted a bike, and decided to make my first one a '99 CBR600 F4.
She has been a bit neglected, but thats ok, because its my first bike, and I dont need 10K worth of metal under me to lay down on the pavement...right?
Well, I also love to build and tinker, so what a beautiful coincodence this thing is a "fixer-upper". Those Repsol Honda's look nice...maybe a replica could be in my future?
Anyway, here is a picture of the ole hag, and its nice to be aboard!

Welcome to CBRF Matt!! You may not be addicted to alcohol, but you will be addicted to motorcycles soon. Congrats on the first bike!! She doesn't look in too bad a shape from your picture.
Since it's your first bike, I would STRONGLY suggest taking some sort of MSF course to learn the basics (doesn't the military require something like that for riding on the base?).
Good luck fixing her up. I see you've found your way to the F4 section, so post up any questions you may have in there or in the General Tech section.
Take care, enjoy the forums, and thanks for serving!
