Default New guy and first time for a cbr

Hi , recently bought a cbr600f 1987 as a winter project , it’s not been started for 5 yrs and I’ve started stripping it down for a rebuild .
looks generally in good order but the carbs are gummed up I think as pouring fuel out of the overflows , I normally ride a cruiser ( Harley fat boy) but am a bit excited about getting this going as I think it’s still a great looking bike despite being 32 yrs old.
hopefully I will sort it easily .
will put pics up as soon as I can get some.

So hello from me.

pete

Welcome. Glad you are here. Please do post up some pics when you can. There is a lot of good help on here to lend a hand when needed.

Would definitely like to see some pics of the bike.
Hope you can get her tip top, I love seeing some of the older girls on the road.
