Default New guy in Chicago, IL

Hi everyone. I just bought my first bike last month it's a 90 ex500. After 150 miles the starter clutch broke so I tig welded it back together. 50miles later the wire harness melted for some reason. Figured I bought a beater so I found something else. Picked this up this past weekend. It's an 02 f4i

Has 12k miles on it and a few mods. It does need few minor things like a cam chain tensioner, mirrors and the front fairing needs to be adjusted since the mirror holes don't line up anymore.

Anyone good at photoshop or have links to graphics/decals or something to make this bike more appealing. It runs great and all but I just don't care for all black.

Welcome aboard Gamble82. Congrats on getting your F4i.

Are your fairings aftermarket? Could be the cause of improper screw hole alignment.

While I like the all black look, I can understand your desire to accent it w/ something new.

Welcome to the CBR Forum!!!!

I think a carbon fiber slip on would help blacken it up....

Link?

Anyone have a on how to remove the front fairing?
I don't think they are aftermarket, but I could be wrong.

So I need an exhaust strap, anyone know where I can find one for cheap at?
I picked it up for 3k. I just ordered mirrors and a CCT and gasket. If I keep it, i'm looking to put 1 or both stock sprockets back on it, front pads and maybe a new front tire.

I found it thanks, I have to find someone good at photoshop so I can see what looks best.
I emailed yoshimura about the exhaust strap and they have the clamp and rubber heatshield (part number: COS450S8ASX is the part number for the clamp $15.00 and HT SHLDTRS for the rubber heat shield $4.25)
So I just called them up and ordered it. W00t
