The New Guy...
I just bought a 2005 Honda CBR600F4i. I'm sooooo excited to get back into riding. About 10 years ago I took a motorcylce safety course and rode around on my buddy's bike. About two weeks later he sold it. I didnt have money to get my own bike so my need for speed sat on a shelf. Well, today is the day. I picked up the bike and its sitting in my garage. I cant wait to get back on the road. I just need to get some gear first!
Few questions... Sorry if they are dumb newbie questions.
1. I bought an ABUS lock and chain as well as a Xena alarm disc lock. Where do I store it while im riding?
2. Paperwork. Do I store this on the bike as well or do I just carry it with me? By paperwork I mean the proof of insurance, bike registration, etc.
Thanks in advance for the help! I'll get some pics up as soon as I can!

Hiyu Leo and welcome aboard the CBRForum mate
A 10 year break hu? you will need a few miles under your belt to get the full feel back ..
The F4 is a very nice ride and I am sure if you take it easy for a while you will settle back into ridding with ease mate..
As for your security stuff ...there are not to many options except a rear bag rack or an over the body back pack ...perhaps a tank bag , although I hate tank bags
I keep my paper work in a little sealed plastic bag(like a lunch bag) in my inside pocket of my all weather jacket ... I would not leave it on the bike ...!!
Yes you should keep it with you in any case mate

Welcome back to riding Leo and welcome to CBRF!!! Good things come to those who wait and you have just proven that again.
Good idea to wait on the gear, but that doesn't mean you should wait to post up a pic of her. We'd love to see what you are so excited about...lol.
Here's the F4i forums. They may be able to answer your storage question better.

As for the paperwork, I always keep mine folded up in my wallet.Congratulations and goodluckwith the bike and see you around...
