What's up everybody. I'm a new member, just registered today. I just bought my first bike a few weeks ago, a '93 CBR 600F2. Pretty fun bike, great for a beginner. I'm glad I didn't listen to my friends and start out with a smaller bike. No real modifactions to it yet, it has enough power for me right now. It has a two bros slip on exhaust and I changed the chain and sprockets from 530 to 520. Kind of wish I had bought a larger rear sprocket to shift my powerband though. The power kicks in around 8000 rpm, would like it to kick in a little lower. But All and all it's a great bike. Feel free to give me riding advice and tips, I'm always interested in hearing from skilled riders.

hey jrw welcome! i can say that since I registered a few hours before you did Anyway good luck with your bike! I just got my 95" F3 three weeks ago. Im loving it so far. Its just enough power for me. And like u said ur happy you didn't start out with anything smaller... I agree. Thats the same way I felt. I learned on my b/f's 03 gix 600. He kept telling me to check out the GS500 (used one of course) then I checked out a new GS500f. I didn't go with it because I wanted something that I would grow into and not grow out of right away. Anyway...enough with my rant...LETS GET THIS CBR FORUM HOPPIN! [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Well, I am new to the site as well as new to the wonderful world of Hondas. A former Yamaha rider, I rode an RC51 and fell in love yet I went out and bought an 04 1000rr. So smooth and feels so planted on the road as well as the track. It took me a while to find this site but it seems to have all of the bells and whistles similar to other great bike websites. I am going to ride the bike stock until spring time, except for frame sliders and race plastics for the track days that are left this season. Rock on everyone and ride safe.

Im 17 from Lafayette, Louisiana. I also just bought my bike, its a 92' Cbr600f2. I love it, Ive been riding dirtbikes all my life n finally felt the need to get a street bike. Ive only been having it two weeks and already have the itch to customize it. Ive been into the custom truck scene n have done many mods and much body work to my truck so i have a bit of experience. I hope this site turns out really great and it gets alot of useful information and tips.
