Hello everyone!!

My name is Alan, I live in the Netherlands and since a couple weeks am the owner of my first bike a CBR 600 f2 from '93. I don't have my motor license yet, so I've got all the time to fix and tune my bike. Which i really enjoy!! I allready have to say thank you guys because this forum helped me out a lot. At the moment I'm cleaning my carburators. The bike rides great (I know I shouldn't ride it but couldn't resist). I think thats the reason I'm taking it apart hahahhaha. But seriously my enginetemp only rises when its idle-ing so I'm trying to get a new thermostat. Why is it that you can only get m at the dealers and why are they so ridiculously pricey.

Hey!! Thanks for the nice welcome!! I want to post some pictures but I've got insufficient priviliges to do that or maybe I'm doing something wrong. My personal pictures doesn't show up as well. Spend the whole morning trying to get it the right size but it doesn't show.
