Default New guy

Hi all
I've just joined. i've had a fair few bikes over the years but this is the first cbr i've had, its and early one but its seems to be all there. Its been parked up outside for 3 years in the last owners garden so needs some work to get it running again.
I hope to soon have it in good running order again soon

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Dave.
Parked in the garden? Wow, were they trying to make things grow faster by putting a bike in it????? Hopefully it didn't take too much of a beating. Definitely watch out for spiders and such.... Good luck restoring her to previous beauty.

Parked in the garden huh? That's a shame. Glad it found an owner in you that will show it the TLC it deserves. :-)

You've got a great bike to work w/ & enjoy.

Welcome aboard! Make yourself at home.

Hi Dave,
nice to meet you.. just wondering if you were here in the states or on the other side of the pond??
thats a great bike you have there.. when that was made i was a fairly new motocycle rider.. between then and now i've owned everything but a yamaha and like seven /eight bikes later. i wouldnt own anything but a honda.. once you get your bike running it will last a long time.. how many miles are on it??

Welcome! She doesn't look too bad for being parked in a garden for 3 years. I hope there's no nasty surprises buried under there, and its great that you're going to bring her back up to speed.

I was in Snowdonia a fortnight ago to go climbing and really wished I'd taken my bike

I was around Bedgelert/Capel Curig, that stretch of the A4085, A4086 & A498 look like a stunning ride, skirting around the bottom of Snowdon and through the Llanberis Pass.

So jealous!
