Default New Guy

Hey all. New to the site. Just purchased my 1993 CBR 600 F2 (Red, White, Blue) last fall. This is the first bike I owned and had a new one back in '93. Had to sell it back then due to new car purchase. Have not been able to sleep since.
Found this one close to home and in great condition. 11,000 miles. Great paint, needs one decal replaced and looks like new. Can't wait unitl the Michigan snow melts and bike season begins again.

Long live hair band metal and CBRs everywhere!

I'm on the West side of MI. near the Lake Michigan shoreline. Grand Haven, MI. to be exact. That place is crawling with bikes in the summer. Great beach.

My favorite bands are Dream Theater and Queensryche. Love Dave and Megadeath.

Always ride safe.

Looking for a new helmet. Any hints?

Can't help ya too much on the helmet. Depends on how much you wanna spend. Shoei is a good one,but it's a personal preference. Do a search in the forums and you'll get some idea's. Wind noice is a big factor when it comes to helmets.
I found mine at a local dealership on sale. I like it for the most part. I've got helmet speakers built into it also.

Seen Queensryche in Saginaw (opened for Metallica)..and Justice for all Tour... good show.
We're gonna be at the Blessing of the Bikes in Baldwin this year,if you can make it,come check it out.

Congrats on the purchase. Badass you found another one like your first.

Post up some pics.

As far as helmets go - the Shoei RF-1100 is the best helmet I've ever tried on.

Thanks. Very happy about my purchase. Rode it a bit late last season but itching to get it on the road this spring.

Great helmet pic. I have tried on the Shoeis. Feel great. Can't afford.

Person who owned it before me put an electronicaly controled seat release on the bike. Button is just above the rear reflector. When key is in, you can remove the seat for storage underneath.
