Cool new guy!!!

I've always been a mopar fan. Big into neon's. I still drive the first one i bought and think I'm on my 8th one already? NEVER thought i would wind up owning a Honda. Let alone a motorcycle. but an opportunity presented itself and i picked one up. it's a 2001 cbr 600 f4i. I got it for dirt cheap off of a kid who's father i work with. he was on his was to the armory to practice for his test and someone wound up turning too fast in front of him. He said he put on the brakes and the front tire found a pot hole which threw him off. Causing the bike to hit the rear end of the car. It ripped off the throttle, brake lever/brake reservoir, broke the front fairing, and took off a tab on the headlights. turns out it's an easier fix than i anticipated. Hope to have it back on the road here within the next week or two depending on parts. still trying to find where to purchase unpainted fairings that aren't from eBay and that won't cost me an arm and a leg.

Welcome, seems good fortune came from an unfortunate experience. Sounds like
it won't take much to have her right and ready to go either.

Welcome to the CBRF, man. I'm pretty much the reverse of you.....I'm a straight honda guy and can never see myself owning a neon... lol..
(Although my buddy was into them for a while)

Plastics are never cheap, although sometimes they pop up on craigslist for a decent price.
