New to the Gang
Yep, found a 98 CBR600f3 at a Harley Dealership no less...only 8000 miles on it. I've read that the f3's are pretty much Honda bulletproof. So I pick it up tomorrow.
I was riding a 06 Ninja 500r. I really liked the little Ninja's flickability (is that a word?) but I wanted something a little more substantial with an adjustable suspension.
The fairings have some scratches, but it doesn't look at all like a lay down. Looks like it was a low/no speed drop in a parking lot and it looks like someone broke the rear fairing tabs so I'll need to get that fixed. May repaint all together but I kind of like the Desert Storm paint scheme.
Idles like a champ. Stock pipes and an engine that looks like you could eat off of it. This bike definitely sat in someone's garage for awhile.

RE: New to the Gang
Welcome to CBRF Kevin!! Thats a nice bike you got. I almost traded my F2 in on one just like it in those same colors a few years back.
Here is a link to the F3 Forum where you will find a ton of friendly and helpful people to help out with any questions or problems you may have with your new ride.

Take care and enjoy yourself in here and be safe "out there". Depending on where you live, it may be a long winter. See you around...
