Default New to forum, New to sport bikes

Hello CBRforum,
new member and new to sport bikes, I've had dirt bikes, quads, and I had a hardtail Harley, just recently let it go to switch to sport bikes, I now have a 2006 CBR1000RR so far I love it, I've only rode it once since up here in the PNW we don't have the greatest riding weather right now :/ but cant wait for the warm weather and riding season to start!

Welcome to the forum!

Take it easy for a while. The 1000rr is a different ride than the HD. Trust me, my hardtail has been parked for a while cuz the sportbike is so much more fun!

You will also see how stuck up the HD guys can be.... and you will wonder why.

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

Big shift! As Demon says, take it easy - power AND power delivery of the Honda might just be a tad more urgent than the HD!

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF! You may not have the best weather right now, but you're in one of the best areas of the country for riding! Enjoy the bike. The 1000rr is a beast of a motorcycle.

Welcome to the forum :-D
I concur, take it very easy on that new bike. A friend gave me a go on his CBR1000RR last year and although very easy to ride it can definitely get away from you before you realise it. Made my F2 feel like a moped in comparison!

RydnaCBR I switched just to try out a sport bike, as a typical Harley owner I was judgmental and thought damn that cant be comfy at all how you ride a sports bike, but my curiosity got the best of me and I tried it out and got the bike I got now. I will honestly say, I was wrong the whole time and sport bikes fit me a lot better than a Hardly does. I was wrong about how comfy they were and there just two completely different styles, 180 degrees different. love the speed, the acceleration, the handling, the ride, the looks of the bikes everything. don't get me wrong I still love Harleys still but damn do I love my CBR and sport bikes.. plus that great sound of a cbr .. and thanks for the compliments on the bike as well
