New to the Forum with a new 2017 Cbr 1000rr
Thought I’d check in and say hi 👍🏻 I’ve had many Sport Bikes over the years but been out of The wind for almost 8 years so it feels like it’s my first bike “almost” LoL . Anyway just picked up a new 2017 CBR 1000rr and I must say is my favorite in all areas . https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...8b191d57d.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...e1d4b63d9.jpeg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...b117ad07c.jpeg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/cbrforu...58d492796.jpeg |
Great looking bike, I'm old school (too old) I find the best security device is a hungry Alligator ,stick that in there and you'll be just fine:)

I too own a 2017 in the matte black. My bike has been spark knocking/pinging in low rpms when placed under load. It is bone stock, pinging since it came off the showroom floor. There are 2 other bikes in the same area behaving similarly. All are running premium gas. Anyone with the new 2017 experiencing this issue? |

Andries, are you also dealing with this ping? |
