Default New to forum, and looking to buy

Hey eveyone,
I figured id say hello and introduce myself. I have been a honda fan since i first began riding motorcycles when i was 8 years old. I've ridden my fair share of street bikes, but now i really am going to buy one come spring. I've already had my permit for almost 2 years and still don't have one!!! Errr. I went to Europe a year and a half ago and rode in the alps. For only being 19, thanks to my dad i have had quite the experience. Now its time to get something myself, lots of my friends who have never even riddden motorcycles are buying bikes, and i don't have one but want one bad. Depending on the whole insurance/cost factor, i am debating between the 600-1000rr. I know alot of you will say 1000 is alot of bike for my first bike to own, but i assure you im no amature. Because this is something im planning on having for a long time, i am just worried i will outgrow the 600 in terms of power, since my buddies have busas' and 750's... One of the only issues ive been thinking about is that im only about 5'6 1/2. Im pretty short and i just wonderin how much lowerin the bike a tad is in terms of the affects it will have handling and such, and if its a good idea. I'd atleast like to be on the front ***** of both my feet. Well look forward to being on this forum w/ u all!! Thanks

Welcome, i think the insurance may become your biggest issue if you get the 1000RR

Welcome to the family. If it's a Honda 600...you'll never be disappointed.
