Default New to the forum

Hey guys, forum noob here. I recently got an 01 F4i. I've barely ridden it though since it has some fuel problems. I'm working on getting it running properly though and am eager to see how it rides on my favorite backroads. Only bad thing is it's got some crappy Bridgestone tires that aren't really ment for hard riding. The previous owner wore down the centers, and left huge chicken strips on them. But that's ok, I'll make due with what it's got for now. I've also got a 97 GSXR in the garage that I've owned for 6 years now. Here's a pic of the CBR sitting on my porch. There isn't any more room in the garage, so the porch makes a good place to work on it and is totally safe to keep it. I had to push it through the living room to get it there.

Not exactly sure. It did a lot of sitting before I got it. At first it just had bad throttle response and felt down on power at low-mid rpm. Then I knew something was seriously wrong when it went through a full tank of gas in about 65 miles. I ended up running it dry since it caught me by suprise, and after filling it up, I flooded it bad trying to start it again. It eventually fired up, but ran like crap and stank of gas really bad. Since then it's been sitting, and I sent the injectors out to get cleaned.

And my wife would kill me if I left a bike in the house! She thought I was crazy when I pushed it through. Haha

Pop off the gas tank and make sure all your vacuum hoses and whatnot are connected.

I'll check on those vacuum hoses. It kinda sucks checking for things like that on a bike I'm not familiar with, but fortunately the guy I bought it from also gave me the factory service manual. I bought it for $2500.
