Default new to the crew

Hey Guys,

I知 new to riding sport bikes and I want to start with a Honda CBR 600rr or 954rr. I haven稚 bought one yet and I知 looking for tips and advice, heck I知 also looking for a decent bike to buy too. I知 in northwest pa and would like a crew to ride with as well. Let me know what I知 getting into.

Thanks,
Nomo

Welcome to the forum, Nomo.
Does "new to sport bikes" mean "new to bikes" in general? If so, I'd steer clear of the 954rr for sure. An older 600 I could see as an ok first bike but I'd start with an F1/F2 or something. It'll be cheaper to buy and cheaper to drop (if that were to happen). Just a thought.

Hi & welcome to CBRF!
You would probably be better starting on a 600RR than a 954....just abit tamer in the power delivery dept so it would be easier to start on.
Good luck and enjoy the forum

Thanks for the welcome fellas. I know I should have listened to you, but I got a good deal on a 929 with a 954 engine. Its been good so far. I'm not as new to bikes as I am to sportbikes. I've only been riding sportbikes since my brother bought a ninja 650 this summer.
