just an update. Dropped the motor out of the bike.. Im starting to rething why the guy sold the bike. There was so much rust on top of the pistons it was amazing(in a bad way) when I pulled the exhaust of, felt a little heavy. only about 1.5 gal of water in it. So glad the parts bike I have has a decent motor to replace it with. Just need to order the gasket kit, new bearings for the crank, another 12 pack of beer and should be good to go!

good news, my parts bike motor only needs the cap to the rods. hopefully, if the wife lets me do my thing tomorrow, i should be able to drop that oil pan and fix it. we will see though, its all in having a project..

Any advise on cleaning a gas tank? Ive heard of radiator places doing it, but just want to make sure.
